Sharing Your AutoDrive with Family or a Team
Account Groups let multiple people share vehicles, drives, fuel, and reports. The same mechanism works for a household or a company fleet.
Inviting Someone to Your Group
As the owner or an admin, you can invite anyone by email. They get a link that drops them straight into the app.
Accepting an Invite to Join a Group
Tap the link in the invite email, sign in (or create an account), and pick how you want your drives to attribute.
Switching Between Groups
If you belong to more than one group (your household + a work fleet, say), the switcher picks which one the app is currently showing.
Personal vs Fleet — What's Different?
Both types share the same data model. The differences are in default privacy, subscription SKU, and UI language.
AutoDrive Personal vs AutoDrive Fleet
Subscriptions entitle the whole group, not a single person. Everyone in the group gets premium.
Emails We Send About Your Subscription
A reference for the transactional emails AutoDrive sends when you subscribe, get charged, cancel, or add drivers and vehicles.
Buying a Subscription from the Home Page
You can subscribe to AutoDrive Personal or Fleet directly from theautodriveapp.com and create your account right after.

Restoring Your Subscription on a New Device
If you've reinstalled the app or switched phones, tap Restore to pick up the subscription you already bought.
Managing Members, Roles, and Leaving a Group

What is LiveDrive?
LiveDrive is a Fleet-only addon that broadcasts each enabled driver’s real-time location to group admins, with optional rolling route history, geofence alerts, and a daily behavior scorecard.
Enable LiveDrive for a Driver
Once your group has the LiveDrive addon, enabling broadcasting for a specific driver is a two-step flow: admin DPA, then driver consent.
Pause or Revoke LiveDrive (Driver)
Drivers can pause LiveDrive for up to 24 hours, or revoke consent entirely, with one tap.
LiveDrive Consent Audit (Member)
Every member of a Fleet group can independently review who requested LiveDrive consent for which driver, who accepted, and any pauses or revocations from Reports → Consent Audit.
LiveDrive Route Replay
Scrub a driver's broadcast track for any day in your retention window, with geofence events overlaid on the path.
LiveDrive Geofences & Alerts
Define circle or polygon zones and get notified when LiveDrive-enabled drivers enter, exit, or dwell inside them.
LiveDrive Driver Insights
A nightly per-driver scorecard derived from speeding, harsh events, idling, after-hours driving, and broadcast coverage.

Checking for Open Recalls
AutoDrive looks up open safety recalls for any vehicle with a VIN, free for every account. Recall data comes directly from NHTSA.
The Odometer Page (AutoCare)
A per-vehicle hub for your odometer: a live reading you can update, what's due by mileage, GPS-glitch review, fuel/charge reconciliation, and the full manual-change audit trail.
AutoCare — what it is and how to subscribe
AutoCare is the AutoDrive add-on for tracking service history, scheduling future maintenance, and getting reminders before things go overdue.
Service History
Log every service visit your vehicles take, see the full history per vehicle, and save a resale-ready PDF of the maintenance log.
Per-vehicle Schedule
A month calendar of every vehicle's service — past visits, what's due, and what's coming up — plus a per-vehicle editor for how often each service should happen.
Reminders + delivery preferences
Service reminders fire automatically based on your Schedule. Choose how you get told — push, email, in-app — and set quiet hours.
AutoCare on iPhone
The iPhone app gives you the full AutoCare surface — Reminders, Recalls, Service History, Schedule, voice-first Observations, Shops & Vendors, and Log a Visit — with push notifications that deep-link to the matching reminder.
Observations — "rattle on right turn"
Quick-capture notes about anything odd you notice while driving. Mark them resolved when the next service visit handles them.
Shops & Vendors directory
Save the shops you take your vehicles to so logging a service visit picks the vendor from a dropdown instead of asking you to retype the name.

How Data Sync Works
AutoDrive is local-first: data saves on your device, then syncs to the server over HTTPS.
Why Your Dashboard Numbers Agree Across Devices
The dashboard on iOS, Android, and the web all pull from the same server calculation — so you see identical totals everywhere.
Offline Support
All features work offline; data syncs automatically when you reconnect.
Account Security
Your account is protected with bcrypt hashing, Keychain storage, and HTTPS-only communication.
Staying Signed In
AutoDrive keeps you signed in as you use it, and asks you to sign in again after 30 days for your security.
Devices & Sessions
See every device signed in to your account and sign out any of them, including a one-click sign-out-everywhere-else, from AutoDrive Online.
Sending Feedback
Rate AutoDrive and leave a comment from the iPhone Settings screen or the online dashboard.
