📝 Observations — "rattle on right turn"
Quick-capture notes about anything odd you notice while driving. Mark them resolved when the next service visit handles them.
The Observations page is where you log lightweight symptoms you've noticed but haven't fixed yet. They're intentionally different from a real service visit — observations are open questions until someone fixes them.
What goes in an observation
Anything you'd want to mention next time you're at the shop:
- "Rattle on right turn"
- "AC weak below 30 mph"
- "Wiper streaking on driver side"
- "Yellow ABS light flickers in cold start"
Each observation has a severity (Low / Medium / High) and a date noticed. Drivers in a Fleet group see this page too — they're often the ones spotting symptoms first.
Resolving
When the next service visit handles the symptom, click Resolve on the observation row. It moves into the Resolved filter rather than disappearing — useful for later "wait, when did we fix this?" lookups. Re-open if the symptom comes back.
