🔔 Reminders + delivery preferences

AutoCare reminders surface anything coming up soon or already overdue. The list is colour-coded: red (overdue), amber (within 500 mi or 30 days), green (further out). A nightly cron refreshes the list and dispatches notifications across the channels you've left enabled.

Snooze vs. dismiss

Snooze hides a reminder for a set number of days (default 30; pick anything from 1 to 365). It re-appears automatically after. Use it when you know you'll handle it but not this week.

Dismiss acknowledges the reminder until the next service is logged. When you record a visit that resets the interval, the reminder rolls forward to the next cycle and shows up again. Use it when you're aware and just want to clear the list.

Delivery preferences

By default AutoCare sends every reminder via push (to all your signed-in devices), email (to your account address), and in-app (the bell icon dropdown). Open Settings › AutoCare Reminders to toggle each channel independently or set a quiet-hours window:

• Channels — each off-switch is independent. Turning off all three pauses delivery; reminders still show on the Reminders page when you visit, but nothing arrives unprompted.
• Quiet hours — pick a start and end time to silence pushes / emails overnight. The window wraps midnight automatically (e.g. 22:00 → 07:00).

On iPhone, the same channel toggles and quiet hours live under Settings › AutoCare Reminders inside the iOS app. Changes you make there sync back to the web instantly, and vice versa — preferences are stored per user, not per device. The iOS app-level push toggle overrides any system-level mute on the AutoDrive notification category.

Driver-role members

Drivers in a Fleet group see this page and these preferences too — a driver may want to silence their phone for the vehicle they're assigned to. Each user's preferences are their own; an owner's settings don't affect a driver, and vice versa.
