📅 Per-vehicle Schedule

The Schedule page is a month calendar of every vehicle’s service — what was done, what’s due, and what’s coming up — backed by a per-vehicle editor for how often each service should happen. The next-due math runs against your latest logged service visit, or against an explicit baseline date / odometer you set on each interval.

Reading the calendar

The page is laid out in three columns: your vehicles and the colour filters on the left, the calendar in the middle, and a This schedule rail on the right. Pick a vehicle on the left to focus everything on it.

Each day shows colour-coded chips. Switch between Month and Agenda (a chronological past-and-upcoming list) with the toggle, page through months with the arrows, and jump back with Today. Click any day — on the calendar or in the right rail — to load everything on it into the rail, where you can also add a one-time service on that date.

• Done — a service you logged, shown on the day it happened.
• Overdue — past its due date or mileage.
• Due soon — within 500 mi or 30 days.
• Upcoming — a recurring service further out.
• One-time — a single future-dated service you scheduled.
• Muted — a tracked interval you’ve silenced. Toggle any kind on or off with the Show filters in the left column.

A date shown with a dotted underline is estimated from how much you drive (a mileage-based interval projected from your recent daily average); dates from a fixed month or an explicit one-time date are exact. The right rail always shows your overdue and due-soon counts and an Up next list — so an empty current month is never mistaken for “nothing scheduled” (click an upcoming item to jump straight to it).

Not yet on the calendar

A brand-new interval can’t be placed on a day until it has a starting point — a last-done date, a last-done odometer, or (for one-time) a target date / mileage. Those appear in a Not yet on the calendar tray below the grid, each with a one-click shortcut to fill in what’s missing. Once it has a starting point it moves onto the calendar.

Setting up a new vehicle

A vehicle with no intervals shows a Set up default schedule button that seeds a curated subset of the catalog (oil change, tire rotation, registration, state inspection, multi-point inspection). Tap it to get started; you can edit / disable / delete any interval afterward, and add more by clicking Add interval in the vehicle's section header.

Per-vehicle overrides

The catalog ships with sensible defaults (oil change every 5,000 mi or 6 months, transmission fluid every 60,000 mi, etc.). Each interval lets you override those defaults — leave a field blank to use the catalog default, or fill it in to set a per-vehicle override. Common case: you run synthetic oil, so your oil change interval is 10,000 mi instead of 5,000.

Trigger modes

• Either (default) — whichever interval comes due first counts. Common for daily-driver fluids and filters.
• Both — both miles AND months must elapse before the service is due. Rare; useful for "every 60k mi but at least once every 5 years" cases.
• One-time — a single future-dated service (timing belt at 90,000 mi, extended-warranty inspection at 36 months). When the matching record lands, the interval is satisfied permanently rather than rolling forward.

Last-done date / odometer

If you're adopting AutoCare on a vehicle that already has real-world service history, fill in the Last done (date) and Last done (odometer) fields when adding the interval. That seeds the next-due math without forcing you to back-fill a year of receipts as service visits. These values also override the records-derived value, so they're handy for ignoring a stray test record.
