🛡 Service History
Log every service visit your vehicles take, see the full history per vehicle, and save a resale-ready PDF of the maintenance log.
The Service History page is your full log of services performed on your vehicles — oil changes, brake jobs, inspections, repairs, anything. Each row is a visit (one trip to a shop, or one DIY session); each visit owns one or more records (the individual services performed during that visit).
Logging a visit
Click Log a Service in the page header to record a new service. The modal asks for the vehicle, the date, optionally a vendor (from your Shops & Vendors directory), the odometer reading, and a list of line items. Each line item can pick a catalog service type ("Oil Change (synthetic)") or carry a custom label ("Replaced rust patch on rocker panel"). The total cost is the sum of line-item costs unless you set an explicit override.
Filtering the log
The toolbar at the top lets you filter by vehicle and by date range (All time, 12 / 6 / 3 months). The summary line on the right shows visit count and total spent for the visible rows.
Editing and deleting
Expand any visit card to see its line items, then click Edit to reopen the modal pre-populated for changes, or Delete to remove the visit (and its records) via a confirmation prompt.
Generate Report
Filter the log to a single vehicle and click Generate Report in the header to open a preview of a printable maintenance dossier — great for resale or for handing to a dealer at trade-in time. The preview gives you Download PDF, Print, and Close buttons in its header so you can review the report before saving. The same Report Builder pipeline every other AutoDrive PDF uses (no separate apps required), so the output looks consistent with every other report you generate.
