🏪 Shops & Vendors directory
Save the shops you take your vehicles to so logging a service visit picks the vendor from a dropdown instead of asking you to retype the name.
The Shops & Vendors page is your account-wide directory of service providers. Save Quick Lube, your local mechanic, the dealer for your make, the tire shop — whoever you take your vehicles to. Each vendor record carries an optional address, phone, email, website, and default labor rate.
Adding a vendor
Click Add Vendor. Name is the only required field; everything else is optional and feeds the visit modal's pre-fills later (e.g. the labor rate auto-populates the cost field when you pick the vendor in a new visit).
Using vendors in service visits
When you log a service visit, the Vendor dropdown is populated from this directory. You can also leave it blank for DIY services. Editing or deleting a vendor here does not affect historical visits — soft-delete keeps the vendor name on past visits so your service history stays intact even after a shop closes or you stop using it.
Visibility
Vendor management is an owner / admin concern, so the page is hidden from driver-role members. Drivers can still see vendor names on the visits they look at; they just don't curate the list.
