👥 Driver Profiles
Create driver profiles to assign drives and vehicles to different household members. Drivers can optionally be invited in as group members with their own login.
If multiple people share your vehicles, Driver Profiles let you track who drove when. Add drivers from the Drivers screen (sidebar on the web; under Account Groups on mobile).
Once you have driver profiles, you can set a Primary Driver on any vehicle from the vehicle edit form — AutoDrive pre-fills that driver on new drives in that vehicle. Individual drives can also be reassigned to any other driver after the fact. Filter drive history by driver to separate personal and business miles, or to compare driving patterns.
Drivers can also be group members
A driver profile is just a name + email by default, but if you enter a real email, AutoDrive can invite that person to join your group with their own login. Once they accept, their phone logs drives directly against the same driver profile — no more re-attributing drives by hand. See Inviting Someone to Your Group. The email-match during accept also lets an existing driver row be claimed by the right person rather than duplicated.
How many drivers can I have?
The driver cap matches the vehicle cap and depends on your plan:
- Free — 1 driver.
- AutoDrive Personal — up to 2 drivers.
- AutoDrive Fleet — up to 20 drivers.
The Your Limits card on the Account Groups page shows your current count, and new Add Driver / invite actions are blocked at-cap. Full plan comparison in AutoDrive Personal vs Fleet.
