📄 Charging Blocks in the Report Builder
Five EV-specific report blocks for total spend, energy efficiency, MPGe, location breakdowns, and trends.
Open the Report Builder from the web app and look for the Charging (EV) palette section. Drag any of the five charging blocks onto your report and they pick up the same date range and vehicle filter as the rest of the report.
- Charging Summary — sessions, total kWh, total spent, average $/kWh.
- Charging Log — tabular list of sessions (date, vehicle, kWh, cost, $/kWh, location). Capped at 50 rows with a "showing N of M" footer.
- Charging Cost Trend — monthly bar chart of charging spend, the EV mirror of the Fuel Cost Trend.
- Energy Efficiency — mi/kWh, kWh/mi, estimated MPGe (mi/kWh × 33.7), $/mi, and total kWh. Distance is restricted to drives on EV vehicles when AutoDrive can identify them.
- Top Charge Locations — your top 10 charging spots ranked by session count, with per-location kWh, cost, and avg $/kWh. Useful for spotting how much you really save by charging at home.
The Cost Breakdown overview block on the dashboard also folds charging spend into the totals — its stacked bar shows Fuel / Charging / Trips with matching legend, so a mixed fleet sees both energy types accounted for in one place.
