▶ Recording a Manual Drive
Start and stop a drive manually when you want full control over recording.
If you prefer not to use AutoTrack, or if you need to record a short trip that automatic detection might miss, you can start a drive manually. Open the Drives tab and tap Start Drive.
The app immediately begins recording GPS coordinates. A live timer and distance counter appear on screen so you can see the trip in progress. When you reach your destination, tap Stop Drive to end the recording and save the trip.
Manual drives are useful in several situations:
- Short trips around a parking lot or neighborhood where speeds stay below the AutoTrack threshold
- When you have AutoTrack turned off to conserve battery
- When you want a precise start and stop time for mileage logging
After saving, manual drives appear in your history just like automatic ones. You can edit the title, assign tags, or change the linked vehicle at any time.
