📱 Mobile Dashboard Styles (iPhone & Android)
Five dashboard layouts on iPhone and Android — Classic, Insights, Map, Trends, and Minimal — plus how to switch between them and which ones require an active subscription.
The iPhone and Android apps each ship five dashboard styles, so you can pick the layout that matches how you actually use AutoDrive. Switch between them in Settings → Display → Dashboard Style — the choice is per-device and takes effect immediately.
The five styles
- Classic — the original gauge-and-car layout. Big drive-count gauge, active vehicle card, fuel/charging tile, and a recent-drives list. Free.
- Insights — analytic dashboard with KPIs, a drives-per-day bar chart, top driver / top vehicle tiles, and quick stats. Best for fleets and anyone who wants the numbers up front. Subscription required.
- Map — geographic-first. Shows your most recent drive's route on a full-screen map with green “A” start and red “B” end pins, this week's totals across the top, and a floating card with the drive's duration, average speed, and cost. Subscription required.
- Trends — period-over-period progress. Pick Week, Month, or All Time and see Distance, Cost per Mile, MPG, and Drives with delta arrows showing how each metric moved versus the previous window. Sparklines under the headline numbers show the day-by-day shape. Subscription required.
- Minimal — at-a-glance. Today, This Week, and This Month as three large numbers with light progress bars, plus a fourth block that shows Fill-ups (for ICE vehicles) or Charging (for EVs) for the active vehicle. Designed for a quick check; no charts, no clutter. Free.
Switching styles
- Open Settings → Display → Dashboard Style. Every style is listed; the ones available on your plan are tappable, and premium-only styles are dimmed with a lock icon.
- Tapping a locked style opens the upgrade prompt. Your previous pick stays selected so a returning subscriber lands back on their old style automatically.
- The active vehicle picker appears on every style. On Map, Trends, Insights, and Minimal it lives as a small pill at the top (or bottom on Minimal); tap it to switch which vehicle the dashboard is scoped to.
Free vs. premium
Classic and Minimal are free on every account. Insights, Map, and Trends require an active AutoDrive subscription. If your subscription lapses while one of the premium styles is active, the dashboard falls back to Classic without losing your stored pick — renewing puts you right back on the style you had before.
Notes
- The same numbers feed every style — switching layouts never changes your data, only how it's presented. See Why Your Dashboard Numbers Agree Across Devices.
- The dashboard on AutoDrive Online is a separate experience — a customizable widget grid. See Dashboard Widgets (Online) for that.
- Driver-only sessions (when you've been invited as a driver into another fleet) always show Classic regardless of the picker, since the other styles aggregate group-wide data that wouldn't be meaningful for a single driver dropping into someone else's fleet.
