📊 Using the Report Builder
Create custom driving reports by selecting blocks, setting a date range, and generating a PDF.
The Report Builder lets you create custom reports about your driving habits, fuel spending, and vehicle usage. You choose which data to include by adding report blocks, set a date range, and then preview or generate a PDF.
To get started, open Report Builder from the sidebar. At the top of the page you will see configuration fields for the report title, date range, vehicle filter, and the new Classification and Purpose filters that scope the report to Business, Personal, Unclassified, or any single purpose (Customer Visit, Commute, Medical, etc.). Below that is a two-panel layout: the block palette on the left and the report canvas on the right.
Add blocks to your report by clicking them in the palette or by dragging them onto the canvas. You can reorder blocks by dragging them within the canvas or by using the up/down arrows on each block header. To remove a block, click the × button.
When you are happy with the layout, click Preview to render every block with your real data. The preview fetches your drives, fuel logs, and vehicle information for the selected date range and populates each block. You can continue to rearrange or remove blocks after previewing.
Click Reset to clear all blocks from the canvas and start over.
