📄 Generating a PDF Report
Generate a print-ready PDF of your report directly from the browser.
Once you have added blocks and previewed your report, click Generate PDF to create a print-ready version. AutoDrive opens a new browser tab with a clean, styled layout optimized for paper or PDF export.
The generated page includes your report title, the date range, and every block you added, rendered with your latest data. Your browser's Print dialog will open automatically. From there you can:
- Save as PDF — choose "Save as PDF" as the destination in the print dialog
- Print a hard copy — select your printer to create a physical report
The PDF layout is designed for standard letter and A4 paper sizes. Tables, charts, and metric blocks are sized to fit within the page margins, and each block uses a page-break-inside: avoid rule so content does not split awkwardly across pages.
You do not need to preview before generating a PDF. If you skip the preview step, the PDF will fetch fresh data automatically before rendering.
