🤖 AutoDrive for Android

The AutoDrive Android app is available on Google Play and works on phones running Android 8.0 and later. It provides the full AutoDrive experience including features that are only possible on a mobile device.

Key Android features include:

• AutoTrack — automatic background drive detection and recording. Multiple wake paths run in parallel (Google Play Services activity recognition, Bluetooth car connections, significant motion, and a periodic 5-minute GPS fallback) so a single OS quirk on a given device can’t cause a missed drive. • Android Auto — AutoDrive runs on the in-car head unit with Drive / Stations / Traffic tabs, so you can start and end drives, find fuel or charging, and check incidents without picking up the phone. See Using AutoDrive with Android Auto.
• Live Drive surfaces — a rich foreground notification that shows speed / distance / elapsed time during a drive, the Android 16 Live Updates status-bar pill (the platform analog to the iOS Dynamic Island), and the optional 4×1 home-screen widget. • VIN Scanner — use your camera to scan VIN barcodes and auto-fill vehicle details.
• Five dashboard styles — Classic, Insights, Map, Trends, and Minimal, with iOS parity. See Mobile Dashboard Styles.
• Push Notifications — get alerts when drives are saved or sync completes.
• Send Logs to Support — Settings → Send Logs to Support packages a 7-day log archive plus a one-shot diagnostic snapshot (permissions, battery optimisation, network state, recent detection events) and uploads it directly to a support ticket. iOS-equivalent flow.
• Material You — follows Android design guidelines with a clean, modern interface.

The app is built with Jetpack Compose and optimized for battery life. Location access is only used for mileage tracking and gas station discovery. No data is shared with third parties.
