🧭 Interactive Tutorial (Online)

The first time you sign in to AutoDrive Online we run a quick interactive tour. It highlights the menu bar, explains Account Groups, and shows you exactly where to add drivers and vehicles — the two pieces of setup that make every other feature work.

The tour is short and you can skip it at any time. We remember when it has been completed (server-side via the did_show_tutorial flag on your account) so you won't see it on future logins, on any device.

Re-running the tutorial

• From the nav, open Help → Interactive Tutorial for the full tour.
• Or click the ? button next to any page title to replay just that page's steps as a standalone mini-tour, no bookkeeping.

What the tutorial covers

The tour adapts to the features available to your account (driver-only, free, personal, or fleet) — steps for tools you don't have access to (e.g. EV charging when you have no electric vehicles, or settings panels not in your nav) are skipped automatically.

• Navigation, Search, Date Range, and the Group Switcher — the topbar and nav controls that scope every other page.
• Dashboard widgets — how to add, rearrange, and remove tiles.
• AutoDrive Assistant — the chat agent that searches the Help Center on your behalf.
• Account Groups — the bucket your drivers, vehicles, and drives belong to.
• Adding drivers and vehicles — including the Primary Driver link that auto-attributes drives.
• My Drives — where drives synced from iPhone or Android land.
• Import / Export Data — bring CSVs in or take your data out.
• Gas Stations, EV Charging Stations, Traffic Alerts — the location-based tools (only shown if relevant to your vehicles).
• Report Builder — templates, title and filename, scope filters, the block palette, the canvas, and preview / download / save.
• Settings — Drive Purposes (custom + IRS-deductible) and Saved Sign-Ins.

Note: the interactive tutorial is specific to AutoDrive Online (the web app). The iPhone and Android apps run their own onboarding flow the first time you launch them.
