📊 Dashboard Widgets (Online)

The dashboard is the first page you land on after signing in to AutoDrive Online. It is a personal grid of widgets — small tiles that read from your live data and update whenever you change the date range or switch account groups.

Each widget is independent. You can add, remove, and rearrange them to match how you actually use AutoDrive. The grid is saved per device, so the layout you build on your laptop will not affect what you see on a tablet or another browser.

Widget categories

Widgets are grouped by category in the add-widget picker so you can find them quickly. Every widget respects the dashboard's date range and group filters, so "Total Drives" in the picker means "total drives in the selected window for the selected group."

Most headline tiles show more than a single number: a trend chip comparing the current window to the period just before it, a small inline chart, and a context breakdown. (The comparison needs a defined window, so it does not appear for the All time range.)

• Totals — cumulative numbers for the window, each with a trend vs the prior period: Total Drives (with a daily sparkline and auto-tracked count), Total Distance (with a business / personal split), Time Driving (with a time-of-day strip), Fuel Spending and Charging Spending (each with a daily spend sparkline), and Fleet (vehicles + drivers with plan-cap usage).
• Vehicles — Vehicle Odometer, a rolling mechanical odometer that animates up on load. It opens on your highest-mileage vehicle, and if you track more than one you can switch which vehicle it shows with the arrows or the name menu — your pick is remembered. Unlike the windowed totals, it shows the vehicle's lifetime mileage rather than a figure scoped to the selected date range.
• Averages — Avg Speed (with a daily trend line and a city / highway lean), Top Speed (shown as a "moment" — the drive that set it), and Avg Distance (with a trip-length distribution), each with a period delta; plus Cost per Mile (all-in fuel + charging + service), Avg Duration (with a length distribution), and Avg $/gal & Avg $/kWh (with price trends).
• Safety — Driving Score as a ring gauge with a points delta and trend, and Harsh Events normalized to events per 100 mi with a brake / accel / corner breakdown and your worst vehicle. Plus the Harsh Events 30-day chart and a Lowest-Scoring Drives list.
• Maintenance (AutoCare) — Cost of Ownership (fuel + charging + service per mile), Maintenance Spend (window + year-to-date with a 6-month trend), Service Due (overdue and upcoming, most urgent first), Vehicle Health (a per-vehicle status), Open Issues (unresolved observations by severity), and Tax-Deductible (estimated mileage deduction). These require the AutoCare add-on.
• Trends — line charts plotting the last 30 days: Drives, Distance, Fuel Spend, Charging Spend, and a Fuel vs Charging comparison.
• Patterns — behavioral charts: Drives by Day of Week, Drives by Time of Day, and Distance by Vehicle.
• Lists — the most recent activity at a glance: Recent Drives, Top Vehicles by Distance, Top Drivers by Distance, Recent Fuel Logs, Recent Charging Sessions, and Records (your personal bests).
• Account — account-level tiles: your Subscription summary and a Feedback widget for sending us a quick rating.

Adding, removing, and rearranging widgets

• Click + Add Widget in the dashboard toolbar to open the picker. Tiles you already have on the grid are marked so you do not add them twice.
• Drag a widget's header to move it. Tiles snap to the grid; small (1-column) and medium (2-column) tiles flow around each other.
• Hover a widget and click the × in its top-right corner to remove it. You can always re-add it from the picker.
• Many widgets show a ↗ arrow in their header that jumps straight to the page behind the widget — for example, Total Drives opens My Drives, Fuel Spending opens Fuel, and Vehicle Odometer opens the AutoCare Odometer page.
• Newly-shipped widgets appear in the picker automatically — you do not have to reset your layout to see them.

Filters that scope every widget

Two controls in the topbar set the scope for the entire dashboard at once:

• Date Range — the calendar pill in the topbar (defaults to This Month). Every widget — KPIs, charts, and lists — reads its data from this window.
• Account Group — the group switcher next to the date range. Switching to a Fleet group, for example, swaps the KPIs from your personal numbers to the fleet's. Drivers, vehicles, and drives outside the active group are excluded automatically.

Goals & Targets

Open Goals & Targets from the Settings menu (it pops up as a quick modal) or as a tab on the Settings page to give your dashboard cards something to measure against. Set a target for any of: distance and drive goals, fuel / charging / total-spend budgets, and cost-per-mile, driving-score, and harsh-event-rate targets. Leave a metric blank and its card keeps its normal breakdown bars.

When a goal is set, that card grows a small progress bar. Budgets and rate targets run green while you are under, amber as you approach, and red once you are over; distance, drive, and score goals fill toward 100%. Budgets prorate to the date range you are viewing, so a $600/month fuel budget shows as roughly $140 on a 7-day window. Hover the bar for the exact figures.

Goals are shared across everyone in the account group and can be set by the group's owner or an admin; other members see them but cannot change them. Because they live on the group, the same targets apply on every device that views that group. Learn more about Goals & Targets.

Free vs. premium

Free accounts see a curated starter set on the dashboard — the headline KPIs, a Recent Drives list, and the Fleet summary — with the add-widget picker locked. Upgrading to AutoDrive Personal or Fleet unlocks every widget and the picker. The starter set is identical across iPhone, Android, and Online so the feel is consistent before and after upgrading.
